Nature is diverse. It can be gentle or violent. It can envelop or revolt one. For many centuries, nature has served mankind as a projection surface for their longings and dreams.

The work ‘Man and Nature’ shows places where humanity has left their footprint. The photos deal with the connection and separation of man and nature respectively, and address the well-known longing of man according to what he just does not has. The ambivalence with which many people deal with nature also becomes clear: for one it is a projection surface, a place of longing for unspoiled nature and peace; for others, man can seldom leave it untouched, but wants to own it, domesticate it.
